Fall in Julian :: Part I

Growing up fall meant the start of school, jackets, excitement for Christmas, Thanksgiving turkey, family....and Julian.

As long as I (Laura) can remember we have been going up to Julian to the Rubenson's Baked Apple Ranch. Every October, Dr. and Mrs. Rubenson (friends of my mom)  graciously open their home for friends and family to walk through their apple fields, spend time in the cabin for a hot cup of cider, climb the tree house, go down to pet the horses in the neighboring ranch, and cut apples to put in the apple press for fresh cider.

And this year was no different.....Welcome fall- excited to have you around :)

Dr. & Mrs. Rubenson- thank you so much for welcoming us and so many others into your home. This has become something we look forward to and it is a cherished tradition every fall!

Oh- and this is "Part I" because Clay brought the film camera along. Check back soon for his 35mm film photos :)
